Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal details I collect when you register for, book or ask about my watercolour classes, and how I use them. In short: I only use your details to run the classes you signed up for and to tell you about future ones, and I never sell them.

Who I am

Mohanraj Kolathapilly (Mohan), a watercolour artist and teacher based in Bangalore, India. You can reach me at mohanraj.k@gmail.com.

What I collect

• Your name, email address and WhatsApp number
• Your painting experience and how you heard about the class
• Payment details for paid classes, which are handled by Razorpay. I see that you paid, but not your card or bank details.
• Anything you write to me through the contact form on this website, by email or on WhatsApp

I collect these details through Google Forms, Instagram and Facebook sign-up forms (Meta lead forms), Razorpay payment pages and this website's contact form.

How I use your details

• To send you the Google Meet link, materials list and reminders for the class you registered for
• To add you to a WhatsApp group for that class, if you agree
• To tell you about future classes and workshops. You can ask me to stop at any time.
• To answer your questions and keep a simple record of my students

Who else handles them

I don't sell or rent your details to anyone. They are stored and processed by the services I use to run the classes: Google (Forms, Sheets, Calendar, Meet), Meta (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) and Razorpay. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Classes may be recorded so that registered students can watch them again. The recording is shared only as an unlisted link with students of that class. If you'd rather not appear, keep your camera off.

How long I keep them

I keep your details while you're interested in my classes. If you ask me to delete them, I will do so within 30 days, except payment records I'm required to keep by law.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or to stop receiving messages, at any time. Email mohanraj.k@gmail.com or message me on WhatsApp.
